People who have a history of Depression, Seizures, Anorexia, Glaucoma, and Heart problems should be cautious when taking Fluoxetine.

Side effects:

Serotonin Syndrome, which may be life-threatening, is greater in people who take certain medications with Fluoxetine.

Symptoms of Serotonin Syndrome include:

  • Hallucinations
  • Delirium
  • Dizziness
  • Fast heart rate
  • Tremors
  • Seizures
  • Nausea, and vomiting
