Duloxetine, sold under the brand name Cymbalta among others, is a medication used to treat a major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Fibromyalgia, and Neuropathic Pain.
Side effects:
If you experience some of these side effects, contact your doctor immediately:
- Allergic reaction (rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue)
- Blood pressure changes
- Dizziness and/or loss of balance
- Fast-talking, excited feelings, or out-of-control actions
- Rapid, irregular heartbeat
- Hallucinations or loss of contact with reality
- Diarrhoea, vomiting
- Suicidal thoughts or other mood changes
- Dark urine
- Unusual bleeding or bruising
Side effects that don’t usually require medical attention:
- Blurred vision
- Appetite changes
- Changes in sex drive or performance
- Increased sweating
